Very Tight Inventory Can Slow The Market
In this Sacramento Seller's Market, homes get sold very quickly especially when it's priced fair value. The one issue I have personally seen is when there are no homes that have sold within a neighborhood for months. This can hinder your house value when you want to sell your home.
Homes under a certain price point are hard to find and get sold over asking price. There are less and less homes hitting the market which in turn is slowing the market itself.
Here's an article explaining the Demand is there but not the Supply part. This may change the outcome of the Market if homes come into the market scarcely.
